3rd BASF Conference in Singapore - Safe TBM Tunnelling under urban areas

BASF Construction Chemicals, supplier of technical solutions for underground construction, announces the organization of the BASF TBM conference 2009 from 5th to 6th November. Singapore has been chosen as this year’s location, following up the events in Istanbul 2007 and Seattle 2008. The conference is supported by MEYCO Global Underground Construction and the Tunneling and Underground Society of Singapore.
Besides the presentations of the 4 most important machine suppliers, numerous high ranking speakers from consultant, contractor and client side will contribute to a high level conference day entirely focused on TBM Tunnelling. The emphases will be on EPB- and Slurry TBM’s, their design possibilities and new concepts, geology and ground stabilization as well as hard rock tunneling and prediction models. The program will be rounded-up by an organized evening dinner and site visits the following day.
