STUVAtec GmbH Expands Expertise in the Field of Fire Protection

STUVA regularly enhances its professional expertise through targeted continuing professional development. In addition to his ongoing project work, STUVAtec employee Ruben Deckers, M. Sc., has now successfully completed his scientific advanced education as a specialist planner and construction manager in fire protection at the Technical University of Cologne. These qualifications include legal principles, technical fire protection measures and interfaces with technical building equipment.

The newly acquired qualifications complete STUVAtec GmbH‘s 30 years of established and recognised expertise in fire protection concepts, verification and implementation on construction sites, as well as all matters relating to preventive fire protection in underground transport facilities. As Head of Fire Protection & Safety, Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Hahne holds overall technical responsibility. He has many years of comprehensive project experience as a fire protection expert. Together, both employees cover the requirements for modern fire protection from conception to implementation. STUVAtec has already developed individual fire protection concepts for numerous large-scale projects, including the U5 in Hamburg, the Wehrhahn Line in Düsseldorf, the Second S-Bahn Main Line in Munich and the North-South City Railway in Cologne. For almost 20 years, STUVAtec GmbH has also been a member of the exclusive circle of certified companies responsible for developing fire protection concepts for Deutsche Bahn AG.
