Seminar on Noise and Vibration Protection on Railways

Dr.-Ing. Friedrich Krüger of the STUVA will chair a seminar on “Noise and Vibration Protection for Rail Traffic” featuring the slogan “Farewell Railway Bonus – Which Effects does this have on combatting Noise?”. The seminar will be held in German language.

As an integral part of the transport infrastructure, rail traffic is of outstanding importance for tackling high volumes of traffic. As far as urban railways are concerned, a high effective capacity and attractiveness can only be assured providing they run on tracks, which are kept free of influences exerted by other forms of transportation....
