Renewal of the Albula Tunnel

The Albula Tunnel is located on the Chur-Thusis-St.Moritz/Chur-Thusis-Pontresina-Tirano route. Since 2008, it has been part of the UNESCO world heritage “Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina District”. Situated at 1,800 m ASL it is the highest Alpine standard-gauge railway tunnel.
