2019 is the success number of the STUVA Conference in Frankfurt am Main: 2019 regular tickets … in the year 2019? Surely someone must have "rounded" that? Let's be straight now.
But really, quite truthfully, the number is correct: 2019 regular participants from 34 countries came to the “Family meeting of tunnellers” at the Frankfurter Messe – the conference with the main themes of tunnel building and tunnel operation/planning, which both raised plenty of interest, and the STUVA Expo with 193 exhibitors on an area of altogether 3156 m². The second success number does not perhaps stick in the memory so well as the 2019, but reflects the growing success of the event: more than 3800 experts from the tunnel business were counted as taking part in the Conference and the Expo. This is 300 more total participants than took part in 2017. And the international flavour of the public can be expressed with another number: almost half, to be precise 46 per cent of the Expo visitors came from abroad to the STUVA Conference in Frankfurt.
