The Sandvik DT923i is an automated tunnelling jumbo from the i-series, equipped with two electro-hydraulic booms from the new SB110i series. These offer up to 62% greater side coverage and enable precise and fast manual boom handling. The fully proportional boom control contributes to increased efficiency in tunnel construction.

With automated drilling features and operator-controlled boom positioning, the DT923i is ideal for precise and fast drilling. The quick and automatic drill rod extension system and ergonomic cabin improve working conditions and increase productivity.
Ergonomic Design and Increased Safety
The DT923i's ergonomically designed cabin provides operators with a comfortable working environment with excellent visibility and optimised ventilation. An optional boom collision avoidance system is available to increase safety during operation.

The DT923i is equipped with advanced IT solutions that streamline and automate the drilling process. Its integration by Subterra, a contractor for a metro extension project in Stockholm, demonstrates the successful application of these technologies.
