Running concurrently with the STUVA Conference, the Hypermotion will take place at the Frankfurt fairgrounds for the third time.
Rapid digitalisation in many sectors of life poses a challenge to us all. Hyper-consumption, mobility needs, quite apart from ongoing climate change as well as increasing urbanisation require new mobility concepts. It is essential to rethink and overcome existing systemic limits. In this way, a future-oriented and sustainable change to mobility can be brought about. Ultimately, the solution lies in new intelligent networked and multimodal systems.
Participants of STUVA Conference can look around the Hypermotion Expo free-of-charge
With this goal in sight, it goes without saying that the event is also of interest for the experts attending the STUVA Conference. As a consequence, the STUVA has teamed up with the Hypermotion this year. All the participants of the STUVA Conference have the chance to look around the Hypermotion exhibition area free-of-charge. They can play an active role if they want. After all, taking part is the name of the game at the Hypermotion. Thus, all participants are invited to join in the workshops and think tanks in order to discuss topical problems and jointly arrive at initial approaches for solving them. Conversely, many trade visitors at the Hypermotion will look around the STUVA Expo. In this way, interesting cross-industry contacts for the firms exhibiting at the STUVA Conference will also ensue.
One of the key issues at this year’s Hypermotion is the legalisation of what is known as “micro mobility”. Electric scooters and hoverboards will soon be allowed to drive on German roads – quite legally. After all, these mini transporters provide an environmentally friendly and low-cost alternative to the car for short journeys. In keeping with this development, the Hypermotion is providing a micro mobility course on which producers can present their lightweight vehicles for movement of people and freight. Apart from monowheels and Segways, E-bikes, cargo-bikes and E-scooters can be tried out.
German Mobility Congress
In the Hypermotion Lab, start-ups as well as established firms will put forward their business ideas and projects. In interactive formats such as elevator pitches or during speed networking, newcomers display their abilities, whilst the finalists from established companies battle for the coveted Supply Chain Management Award.
