Successful Emergency Testin the Virgolo Tunnel

In October 2014, the Autostrada del Brennero S.p.A. carried out a full scale emergency exercise in the more than 40 years old Virgolo tunnel near Bolzano. Fogtec’s fixed firefighting system (FFFS) was part of testing of the tunnel’s emergency management and safety systems. More than 200 experts from police, fire brigades, civil defence, the Autostrada del Brennero S.p.A and manufacturer Fogtec attended the exercise that started at 21:00 and lasted until 4:00 in the morning
