Trip to Tunnelling Project ”Metro Green Line“ in Doha

Dipl.-Ing. Nina Wassmann (Fig. 1) presented the best lecture at the 2015 STUVA Conference to clinch the prize for young engineers at the “Youth Forum”. With Amberg Engineering at the time of the Conference, she has since joined Schlüssler-Plan. Her winning topic: “BIM (Building Information Modeling) or 3D Planning? Experiences of a Tunnel Planner during the Förbifart Project in Stockholm”. Originally the prize involved a trip to the tunnel sites of the Metro Line Üsküdar–Cekmeköy and the Avrasya motorway tunnel beneath the Bosporus in Istanbul (Turkey).
