Fornebubanen Chooses Implenia for Tunnel and Ground Construction from Lysaker to Fornebu

In March 2021, the Swiss construction group Implenia was awarded the contract for the construction of the Lysaker–Fornebu railway tunnel in Norway. The contract consists of planning and building a tunnel, including cross passages, on a stretch of approximately 2.3 km. In addition, construction pits and rock shafts will be established for Flytårnet station and Fornebuporten station.
