For the construction of the new Sisikon Tunnel as part of the “Neue Axenstraße” Project, GIPO Gisler Power AG is supplying two GIPO ST B 1490 stationary jaw crushers. During the excavation of the Swiss road tunnel, the two units process the excavated material directly on site and reduce it to a size suitable for conveying. Thanks to high performance, efficient pre-screening, and reliable conveying technology, large quantities of material are processed cost-effectively and reused as a valuable raw material. The Sisikon Tunnel is being constructed by drilling and blasting (full face excavation) over a total length of just under 4.5 km. Completion is scheduled for 2034.
