Metro Tunnel U4, Hamburg: From the HafenCity to the Elbe Bridges in a weekly Cycle

The Hamburg HafenCity is the biggest inner-urban development project in Europe. On behalf of the Hamburg Hochbahn AG the Metro Line U4 is currently being extended in the direction of the bridges over the Elbe to link the eastern suburbs with the local transit system.

The HafenCity University Metro Station opened in December 2012 represents the terminus for the present U4 Line.
