Unobstructed Escape Route – Pressure Relief Systems for Tunnel Doors

Pressure differences between tunnel areas or technical equipment rooms can make it considerably more difficult to open escape and service doors, especially when the pressure difference is high. Excessive opening forces carry the risk that, in an emergency, users may mistakenly assume that the door is locked and instead look for the nearest exit – with potentially serious consequences.
